How it started

I grew up in rural New Zealand, where there was plenty of room and nature was always close by. At 21, I moved to the Netherlands and entered the business world. But after a few years, something gnawed at me. It felt... unnatural. I was stuck in the digital grind, and the connection with what truly matters was gone.

Changing course: Choosing rest and craftsmanship

I saw everyone around me just 'surviving' instead of thriving. I wanted to do things differently. I started experimenting. No more spreadsheets; instead, working with my hands. I wanted to go back to basics and learn real skills. I wanted to create a life full of mindfulness, playfulness, and adventure.

Why I do this

During my search, I discovered the power of tallow. It is an effective skincare product that we have simply forgotten in the modern world. What struck me? Almost no brand offered a fully organic range. In the world of cosmetics, "organic" is often a flexible concept, but for me, it is the standard I dont want to compromise on.
